Girlfest presents, HPRD vs. L.A. Derby Dolls

11.07.09 I’m running out of adjectives to describe how ridiculously badass these Roller Derby bouts are. So I’ll just put up some photos and get outta the way.

If you haven’t witnessed the women of roller derby tear it up yet, now’s the time. Last Sunday, as a part of GirlFest, the women of Pacific Roller Derby faced off against the L.A. Derby Dolls in Hawaii Kai. Their bouts are growing in popularity and I have no doubt that in a few months you’ll have to fight your way in to see these events.
